Billing

Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps does bill for ambulance services, when the care provided requires the individual be transported to a local hospital. The Corps relies primarily on the income received for billed service to support the day-to-day operations and capital improvements. The corps contracts with a local 3rd-party vendor to provide the billing services on our behalf.

Individuals who are transported and patients of our ambulance service are kept confidential. The Corps takes patient confidentially and the protection of patient records as a priority. Our agency has written privacy guidelines for patient's rights and requires all patients to sign documentation during transport to the hospital to acknowledge the use of your information.

In order to safe guard privacy, only authorized members have access to patient records. Most members who answer the telephone do not have access to your records and would not be able to verify your identity. It is for these reasons that members are not authorized to provide patient information over the telephone. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you!
