In 1970, Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, inc. was formed to serve a critical function in the preservation of life for the sick or injured. Our ambulance is a provider of emergency medical services for the people who live, work, and travel within the towns of Victor and Farmington, New York. Our agency's pre-hospital medical service is continually advancing to provide the highest level of care for our patients in crisis. Pre-hospital emergency medical services developed from a NHTSA study known as the white paper in the 1960's. This study led the way to public law requiring improvements for medical response and response to injuries. The emergency medical service, the "Star of Life" is our industry's recognizable symbol. |
