Satellite Facility

Victor Farmington operates from a second satellite office located at 372 High Street in the Town of Victor. The launch and implementation of the Outreach Program was a joint effort between our agency and the Fishers Fire District. The satellite office is staffed Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm. The Victor Farmington ambulance personnel stationed at the satellite office are qualified at the advanced life support level.

The primary purpose of the satellite office is to reduce the response time of qualified advanced emergency medical care to the densely populated commercial and industrial district on the western-most portion of our ambulance district. Our agency will operate one emergency response vehicle with the identifier of Medic 66. This resource performs a First Responder service for our ambulance district, which includes the entire territory of the Fishers Fire District.

The daytime population for the Fishers Fire District can easily exceed 25,000 and the related traffic congestion during the daytime creates delays for the ambulance versus a nighttime fixed population of 5,000. The emergency medical response is to better serve the people who work, shop, and travel with-in this area, which includes Eastview Mall, Cobblestone Plaza, Target Plaza, Home Depot, BJ's Wholesale Club, and many more retail and industrial business operations, restaurants, hotels, and office complexes.

In addition to first responding for our ambulance crews, this location geographical borders Monroe County and Victor Farmington's Medic 66 unit will provide advanced emergency medical care for our community when a mutual aid ambulance is requested. Our agency may need to request a mutual aid ambulance at times our agency is out of ambulances or personnel from the neighboring districts. This first response will reduce significantly delays in patient care and will continue to provide the advanced level care if needed on the mutual aid ambulance. Likewise, Medic 66 infrequently may provide mutual aid into neighboring ambulance districts for advanced life support intercepts.
