Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR and other lifesaving skills in a variety of settings.
Course Length: 4 Hours
Course Fee: $60 (does not include the cost of the required student workbook*) **
Certification Period: 2 Years
Heartsaver First Aid
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who is interested in or needs to learn how to respond and render first aid at work or home.
Course Length: 3.5 Hours
Course Fee: $55 (does not include the cost of the required student workbook*) **
Certification Period: 2 Years
Heartsaver CPR/AED
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who is interested in or needs to learn how to respond at work or home and perform CPR and use an AED until advanced help arrives.
Course Length: 3.5 Hours
Course Fee: $55 (does not include the cost of the required student workbook*) **
Certification Period: 2 Years
Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/AED
This is a combination course that covers all topics covered in the stand alone Heartsaver First Aid and Heartsaver CPR/AED courses.
Course Length: 7 Hours
Course Fee: $100 (includes the required student workbook*) **
Certification Period: 2 Years
Family and Friends CPR
This course is meant for members of the community who are interested in learning CPR but DO NOT need a completion certificate for their job or other requirement. This course is ideal for most age groups and covers hands only CPR, giving breaths, and choking.
Course Length: 1.5 hours
Course Fee: $35 (includes the student manual)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
This course helps to train medical professionals to manage cardiovascular emergencies or cardiopulmonary arrest. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, physicians, dentists, paramedics and nurses.
Course Length: 8 hours
Course Fee: $125 (does not include the cost of the required student workbook*) **
Certification Period: 2 Years
Skills Verification
Have you completed the AHA Heartcode E-Learning program for any of the courses above? Are you aware that in order to become certified you must complete a skills verification session at an authorized AHA Training Site? WE CAN HELP!! This typically takes about an hour per participant and is a great alternative if you are always on the go and cant attend one of our regularly scheduled classes! Stop the Bleed
Victor Farmington Ambulance is also authorized by the American College of Surgeons to deliver the Stop the Bleed Course!
This is a course that seeks to train, equip, and empower the public to help in a bleeding emergency before EMS can arrive. You will learn the concepts of bleeding control and have opportunities to practice in simulated bleeding scenarios. Participants will receive a tourniquet upon completion of the program, so they have the tools needed to help stop a bleeding emergency.
Course Length: 1.5 hours
Course Fee: $25
